FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

  • 1. How do I pay and when is it due?

We make it simple! We accept major credit cards, checks, and money orders. For day trips under $75, full payment is due at booking. Over $75? Just a $75 deposit secures your seat, and the final balance is due 45 days before departure. Multi-day tours require a $200 deposit, with the balance due 60 days prior. Easy peasy!

  • 2. What is Elevate Ease?

Think of it as your peace-of-mind booster. Elevate Ease is our optional pre-departure cancellation coverage for domestic motorcoach trips. If you need to cancel for a covered medical reason, you’ll get a full refund or future tour credit—depending on your tier. It’s not insurance, but it’s a comforting safety net.

  • 3. How is Elevate Ease different from travel insurance?

Elevate Ease covers only pre-departure cancellations for medical reasons on qualifying tours. Travel insurance? That’s the big league: it covers trip interruptions, medical emergencies, lost baggage, missed connections, and more. We strongly recommend travel insurance for every adventure.

  • 4. Can I transfer my spot to someone else?

    Absolutely! You have two options:

    • Automatic replacement: Someone from our waiting list takes your seat → you get a refund minus any admin fees.
    • Self-substitute: You can hand your spot to a friend or family member. Just send us their info, and we handle the rest. Money exchange is all between you two.
  • 5. Are there rest stops, snacks, or luggage tips?

Yes, yes, and yes! We schedule rest stops every 2–3 hours. Each traveler can bring one large suitcase plus a personal item—label everything inside and out to keep it safe. Snacks and water are generally available, but we always recommend bringing your favorites.

  • 6. How much should I tip the driver or tour director?

We suggest about $3-5 per person, per day, for both your driver and tour director. It goes a long way in keeping smiles on their faces!

  • 7. What identification do I need for travel?

For domestic flights starting May 7, 2025, a REAL ID-compliant license or passport is required. For international trips, a passport valid at least six months beyond your return is essential. Travelers with non-U.S. passports may have additional entry requirements—so check early!

  • 8. Why do you recommend travel insurance?

Life happens. Travel insurance protects you against unexpected hiccups like trip cancellation, medical emergencies, missed connections, and lost luggage. Remember, Elevate Ease only covers certain pre-departure cancellations, so insurance is the ultimate safety net for your adventure.
